Two years since the last album came out might be enough for the queen of hip-hop and r&b as much of the material sounds the same tough a little less inspired. Don’t get me wrong tough it is still an album of high standard.

The first positive surprise is Mr. Puffy back behind the desk producing seem likes he hungry to show the world he can still produce great material and it some extend he do, it’s sure the best he have done in ages.

Mary J. Blige delivers here standard secure soul singing tough she sounds a bit uninspired on the first half of the album, maybe because she above all is a super live artist living for the audience. 50 cent delivers an unconvincing and tremendously boring rap of one of the tracks while methodman aces another (makes the waiting for his next solo album harder).

On the second half of the album though Mary seem to find inspiration and after the song Friends, she do one of her trademark soul-filled-from-the-heart singing like only she can. It is an album for the love feeling moments.

To conclude: this is an album with a few catchy tracks, a lot of nice beats, and at times a very heart-filled singing. If you haven’t bought her last album, get this one. If you a die hard fan well you gonna get it anyway. Let me say I just listen to this album once before writing and usaly you like her album more as you listen to them over again therefore I give it a verdict 7(-)/10. Get it if you want some hip-hop /soul /r&b, there’s nothing else out there at the moment.

Best tracks: Love @ 1st sight (feat. Methodman), Friends, Didn’t mean.

Produced by: Sean “P. Diddy” Combs
